After upgrade from Breadcrumb NavXT 4.3.0 to 4.4.0 all I was able to see of the site http://lameclan.altervista.org/blog/ was this PHP error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_kses_allowed_html() in /membri/lameclan/blog/wp-content/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/includes/mtekk_adminkit.php on line 52

I’m using WordPress 3.4.1. I’m not able to say if the problem depends on any possible customizations I made to WP theme.

What I did to restore site functionality:

    — Connected to the server via FTP and deleted the last version of Breadcrumb NavXT
    — Downloaded version 4.3.0 of the plugin from http://wordpress.org/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/developers/ and re-uploaded to the server

    Thanks for your attention.

Version 4.4 requires WordPress 3.5. The read me and the plugin page does specify this requirement. Typically, I try to support one version back of WordPress, but in this case to fix an issue in 4.3 I had to bump the minimum WordPress version to 3.5.

In this case, it’s only my fault.
    Thanks for the answer.
