Plugin Update Failure

    I keep getting this error message when I try to update The Events Calendar plugin: “Update failed: Could not copy file. the-events-calendar/build/app/main.asset.php”

    I checked file permissions using FileZilla, all good.

    How do I fix this?

    Hi @drossetti ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    This sounds like a file permissions issue with your web server. I recommend reaching out to your WebHost and ensure that your web server has write permissions to your /wp-content/plugins/ folder. Alternatively, you can do a manual update (see Manual Updates).
