Hey oldmanmoney,
Thanks for reaching out! It looks like you might be asking about a different plugin that was not developed by us. The folks who developed that particular plugin will likely be your best resource, moving forward. I found a link to that plugin’s directory page, here, if that helps: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/developers/
Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions about the MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin in the future!
Cheers,
Pearl
I am using your MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin… I was just giving you the versions of everything.
In the settings for your plugin there is Sync Status tab, when I click on that tab it reads:
Sync Started: Tue, Oct 18, 2016 3:17 PM
Sync Completed: In Progress
Thank you, your help is greatly appreciated!
Hi again, oldmanmoney!
Thanks so much for the clarification! I’m on the same page as you now – my apologies for getting a bit confused initially.
To clarify a bit, when the tab says that syncing is “in progress”, it should later update to “complete” with a time stamp once the sync is finished. This can be a while depending on the amount of data that is being brought over. That being said, in this case it looks like there will need to be some investigation into the MailChimp account you’re working with. Could you please reach out to MailChimp’s Support forum from within your account? The steps to do so are outlined here, if needed: http://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/management/mailchimp-support-options#Contact-Support
When you open up the support ticket, please include a link to this forum post as well as the following details:
– The theme you’re using
– How many records are you attempting to sync, and how long has it been syncing?
– Any specific email addresses that are not syncing to your list as expected
Thanks!
Pearl
Same issue! This is so frustrating and it seems that Mailchimp has no way of “fixing” it… Anyone else have any advice??
Hi @equusport,
Thanks for chiming in on the thread. I totally understand that this issue is frustrating, and I’m sorry for the negative impact this experience must be having on your workflow. Our developers are actively looking into this situation. That being said, we are tracking the details of each instance of this behavior and the best way for us to move forward towards resolution here would be to have you reach out to the MailChimp support team following the steps mentioned previously in this thread. This will allow the MailChimp support agent to take a look at the connected MailChimp account and determine if this case is related, and to rule out other potential culprits.
Thanks, we look forward to hearing from you with that information! To re-cap, we need the following details:
– The version of php you’re using
– The theme you’re using
– How many records are you attempting to sync, and how long has it been syncing?
– Is the integration otherwise working as expected? ie: do new customers make it into MailChimp or are abandoned carts working like they should?
– Any specific email addresses that are not syncing to your list as expected
– A link to your site where the plugin is installed
Warmest Regards,
Pearl
