MailChimp for WooCommerce

Description

  • MailChimp for WooCommerce is a free plugin that connects your WooCommerce store with your MailChimp account.
  • Your customers and their purchase data are automatically synced with MailChimp, so you can create targeted email campaigns based on buying behavior.

You’ll have the power to:

  • Sync list and purchase data
  • Create abandoned cart Automation workflows
  • Send product recommendations
  • Segment based on purchase history
  • View your results and measure ROI
  • Grow your audience and sell more stuff with Facebook Ad Campaigns in MailChimp

A note for current WooCommerce integration users

This plugin supports our most powerful API 3.0 features, and is intended for users who have not yet integrated their WooCommerce stores with MailChimp.

You can run this new integration at the same time as your current WooCommerce integration for MailChimp. However, data from the older integration will display separately in subscriber profiles, and can’t be used with e-commerce features that require API 3.0.

Reviews

Limited without category sync

The plugin is a bit limited for some of the use cases I had in mind.

1. All woocommerce customers are synced to a single list. And once the list is configured it (apparently) cannot be changed. I would have liked the ability to associate individual products or categories with their own list

2. WooCommerce categories are not synced with MailChimp. This means category-based automations are not supported.

It works perfectly

It worked perfectly for me with the latest version. By the way, you guys should add the auto-generate coupon for new customers and abandoned carts. That should increase the ROI.

Works fine and provides excellent insights

The recent reviews had me a little concerned but the functionality it promised made it irresistible. I installed it and had it setup quickly and easily. I was able to setup my first abandoned cart email super easily as well. In fact I was actually impressed with how good the setup process was. I had the documentation there just in case, and it seemed well written, but I probably didn’t even need it. Now I will just observe and see how it runs. But it certainly seems like it is off to a really good start. I will update this review if I have any problems.
