I didn’t debug but I will a bit later on.

The moment I turned on Mobile theme the site broke with a 500 Internal Server error which I assume is a fatal error of some sort.

I’ll post back here once I find the problem.
If someone else has a solution please post here too.

I had the same problem. Im not techie I had to disconnect the whole jet pack

This sounds like probably the same problem as http://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-jetpack_is_mobile?replies=10#post-3208065 I think we have it fixed for a bugfix release tomorrow, but I can’t personally reproduce the bug.

I’ve reproduced the bug, and until Jetpack 1.8.1 comes out, you can “fix” the problem by enabling the Subscriptions module.

If you already had the Subscriptions module enabled, let me know.

This bug has been fixed in Jetpack 1.8.1, which is now available at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jetpack/
