[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] tracking author pageviews or visits?

I am trying to track all pageviews for posts by XYZ author. The plug-in is pulling this variable into the custom variables section, but Google Analytics says “visits” instead of pageviews. The video also has the speaker saying “pageviews” but the screen says visits… What is this plug-in really tracking?

When I compare my pageviews of a certain author’s slug to the visits in the custom variables, the pageviews are much, much higher.

    Anyone have any idea?

‘visits’ and ‘pageviews’ are two different metrics in Google Analytics. You can create a custom report that shows the custom variable next to pageviews associated with it.

Could you show me how to create that custom report?
