[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Downloads tracking not working?

    I have the latest WP 3.4.1, and Google Analytics for WordPress 4.2.4. I also have enabled “Track outbound clicks & downloads.” When I go to the Events, Overview, I can see three items:

    *outbound-article
    *comment
    *outbound-menu

    There is no “downloads” listed. I have several downloads on my site (.pdf, .epub, .mobi, .mp3), but I can’t find them listed anywhere in Analytics. Am I looking in the wrong place?

    One thing that might be preventing the downloads from being tagged correctly for Analytics is that I’m not adding them through the standard media uploader in the editor. They are being added through custom fields, and dynamically through PHP in the template. Do I need to do something special to make sure the plugin tags them?
