[Plugin: Comprehensive Google Map Plugin] Zoom feature problem – multiple markers

    Hi Alexander,

    In implementing the maps we noticed that you automatically zoom the viewport in when using multiple markers even when someone specifies the zoom parameter. Would it be possible to make it so that it only zooms to fit if no ZOOM parameter is specified?

    Basically it’s zooming in but it’s going too far. The points of reference we need are not visible without the user having to first zoom out.

    Hi Ryan,

    Yes, ATM I am auto zooming to make sure all markers are in the viewport. I guess it is possible to make as an option.

    I will try to take this into account in one of the future updates.

    Hi Alexander,

    Thanks for this plugin which does everything I wanted on one of my WordPress sites. Can I however add my weight to the request from Ryan (above) as I have the same problem in that the forced auto-zoom with multiple markers is not allowing me to zoom out far enough to show my visitors familiar landmarks.
