Plugin causing major error on editing Pages and Widgets

    Hi, I have been using your plugin for a long time with no issues, but (I think) since the last update it is causing “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.” after a few seconds, in both page edits and widgets. The error it allows you to copy is as follows:

    If I deactivate Block Visibility there is no error. This is obviously extremely inconvenient as I have been using your plugin extensively in both widgets and pages. I can access the widgets page if I install the Classic Widgets plugin and Pages with the Classic Editor but then I lose all the block capabilities as well as your plugin’s settings. Unfortunately I have had to switch to another plugin and work through my entire site as this is a live site but I thought you should know about the issue. Maybe it is just my site and another plugin or theme conflict, and I did try to roll back to previous versions without success, so it probably is, but I just can’t wait for a fix. I did deactivate plugins but it made no difference. In case it helps you investigate, I am on the latest WordPress, running on PHP 8.1, with 57 plugins and using a child theme of Blocksy. One of the plugins is Buddypress, and if you want a complete list please let me know, but I did deactivate any that had been updated in the last month, as that was the last time I was aware of no issues. I am not certain the issue started with the plugin update though – sorry I can’t be of more help. Good luck if you do look into this, but it has and is causing me nightmares.

    Hi @awol,

    I apologize for the issues you are experiencing. Can you share what version of WordPress you are using and whether or not you are using the Gutenberg plugin? This will help me diagnose the issue further.

    Hi @ndiego,

    As mentioned I am using the latest WordPress, and I am using both Soectra and Stackable plugins (but deactivated these in case they were the issue), and my possibly wrong impression was that Gutenberg is built in to WordPress? Or is it built into the Blocksy theme I am using? But I definitely don’t have the Gutenberg plugin.

    Thanks for the additional information @awol! I have tested with WordPress 6.4.3 with Blocksy, Spectra, and Stackable and, unfortunately, have not been able to replicate the issue.

    Is there any chance you are using the WP Fusion? The error message might point to an issue with the integration, but it’s not definitive.
