Hi @oughnic, apologies for the delay in my reply here. I heard back from one of my colleagues in regard to this, the reason why we use Stripe Connect for Tickets Commerce is that basically, it is the fastest way to enable our plugin users to accept payments directly while relying on Stripe to manage onboarding, reporting, and loss liability.

Thats fine – I decided it was an over-reach of control over the account and won’t be using the product. There are much more proportionate approaches that could be used instead.
