Placeholder in name field

    Hi Guys,

    in the settings, option: “Default visitor name”. Is it possible to just have a placeholder instead of an input on the frontend? I understand it’s to have a default name, but I’d like to have nothing in the field.

    Hello @mrnzungi, you have a point. In the next version it will be possible to leave empty “Default visitor name” and force visitor to enter a name. We’ll improve checks and fields validity feedback as well.

    Hello @mrnzungi, we just released version 8.1.5 with a fix for this behavior. Now it’s possible to leave empty “Default visitor name” and users are forced to enter one to start chat session.
