PHP Error During Member Checkout w/ Paypal Express

    Buddypress 2.1.1
    PM Pro 1.7.15.2

    Hi PM Pro Team,

    I’ve been having some problems completing member checkout after I updated to PM Pro 1.7.15.2. After pressing “Complete Payment” on the Membership Checkout Review page, I get the following php error message:

    Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/theext7/public_html/wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/includes/functions.php on line 1318

    I’ve tried rolling PM Pro back to 1.7.15.1, 1.7.15, and my original 1.7.14.2, but the error message always appears. I’m guessing this is a bug with the new wordpress 4.0.1, because I was able to complete the payment process (although the payment didn’t actually process) when I was running wordpress 3.8.4 and PM Pro 1.7.14.2.

    So far, PM Pro has been everything that I’m looking for in a membership plugin, and I have every intention of purchasing the premium support package very soon. I just need to get these payments working so that my site can start generating some revenue.

    I would really appreciate your help with this.

    Ok, I just realized that the Paypal express payments are indeed processing. However, I’m still getting the php error message, so the issue is only occurring on the PM Pro side.

    As I mentioned before, I want to purchase premium support for this plugin, but I need to know that PM Pro will work for me, before I do so. And right now, this is the only issue standing in the way of the launch of my site.

    Please help, I need a solution soon.
