We desire to keep MaxButtons up-to-date. We will check on this and get back to you.
Hi,
MaxButtons works fine on PHP 7.1 and even 7.2, so I’m quite curious how this check works. Is there a page you can refer to? Any information why the plugin is deemed not compatible?
This is good to know. I will schedule some time to do the upgrade. SiteGround has a plug-in called “SG Optimizer,” Which they use for various things. One tool included is their PHP Config. It does a check on your installation to make sure everything is compatible for an upgrade , and then also does the update. This is the screenshot I have. I don’t know what their process is for determining compatibility.
Thank you for confirming that it’s good to go ahead and update.
This is the error message generated by the SG Optimizer:

Thanks for the information. I’ll see what we can do to get off that list 🙂
As an update, by now this compat check should give a green sign for MaxButtons.
