Photon ignores cropping location

    Photon does indeed ignore these customized resized thumbnails, as it only uses the original image and takes care of the resizing on its own.

    You can set up Photon to crop your images a certain way, as explained here, but you won’t be able to achieve the results you get by defining the main point of interest in every picture like with “My Eyes Are Up Here“. Photon wasn’t designed that way, so My Eyes Are Up Here would have to be extended to apply the custom crop to Photon when it’s active on a site. Until then, I’m afraid you’ll need to deactivate the Photon module.
