I suspect a conflict with image lazy loading. Are you using any plugins for lazy loading images or does the theme lazy load images?
You’re right! Really the photo cuts off the effect of lazy photo upload. This effect is included in the theme. How to use lazy topic loading and display images correctly?
I need to see the theme code to understand how it works. I may be able to bypass lazy loading on testimonials.

Or ask theme support if there’s a way exclude images from lazy loading; for example, with a CSS class.

Please update to version 2.31. There is a new compatibility option for lazy loading. You can enter the CSS classes your theme uses as lazy loading indicators. As near as I can tell, here are the classes for WoodMart:

On the same settings page, you may also need to set the new “Load Event” option to “window load”.
