permalink question

Hi all,

Dennis here. I am webmastering for a Bed & Breakfast client website. I’ve been working on a rebranded site with a domain name that just has the word ‘blog’ attached to her current website. Example, XYZ.com would be her current site domain name and XYZblog.com is the rebranded site that I am almost finished with. I plan on pointing her current site domain to the server that houses the rebranded wordpress website this weekend. I have all of the technical necessities in place in order to change the domain name of this rebranded wordpress site including modifiying the wp-config.php file, the MySQL database and settings—>general WordPress address and Site address changes, do a ‘find and replace’ text on each page that will make the url’s faithful to the new domain name. My question is, once I do all the technical formalities and point her current domain name to the server that holds the rebranded website, will the permalinks automatically change? Will the main nav menu links automatically change? I’ve done this procedure once before but forget the answers to these questions.
