    I’d like to understand about the payment aspect. Do I have to pay to use AI?

    It’s a bit confusing because there are credits, and what are these credits for? Are they for using third-party services? Is there a limit to using the AI?

    After you use up $5 credit, you will have to pay to continue. No one has run out of credit or paid yet.

    Yes the credits are for using third-party AI services (like OpenAI and Gemini) indexing/embedding and chat completion/answers.

    I was wondering this exact same question.
    This $5 initial credit is a one time credit and not renewable per month, right?
    It should be made more obvious on the plugin page.

    Yes the $5 initial credit is a one time credit and not renewable per month.

    I added Payments to the FAQ section.
