Pause Interval and Animation Length not working correctly

    When setting the Pause Interval to 3 seconds and the Animation Length to 1 ms, the slider functions correctly. However, higher Animation Length values produce highly irregular results. Here are some sample durations for combinations of Pause Interval (PI) and Animation Length (AL):

    PI: 3s
    AL: 50ms
    Duration between slides: 12s

    PI: 3s
    AL: 100ms
    Duration: 23s

    PI: 5s
    AL: 30ms
    Duration: 9s

    PI: 5s
    AL: 50ms
    Duration: 15s

    Clearly, something is wrong with the slide animation. What can I do to fix this?
