Passing month/year/category via URL query string?

Is there any way of passing arguments/values to FullCalendar via the query string, and if so which ones can be used?
e.g. with [events_calendar full=1] on a page, http://[domain]/this_page/?mo=10&yr=2017 will set the standard EM full calendar to October 2017.
