Hi,
I visited your site and if you want to show only posts of current language you must enable the option “Filter posts” (disabled by default), in “Filters” tab of settings page.
By default is enabled the option “Filter translations” that allow to show all posts except translations.
By default in the list of “All posts” are shown posts of default language, you can choose to show posts in different language with combo near “Filter” button.
With defaut settings the plugin shows:
1) Rein deutscher Post
Because doesn’t exists a translation in English
2) English-only post
What does the text “For some reason, this post does not appear in the list of all posts. This is weird” means?
3) Post without language
Posts with neutral language will always be visibile
4) Hello world! ( Hallo Welt )
The plugin show correctly “Hello wolrd!” for english and “Hallo Welt” for German

Hi!
Thanks for the quick reply!
Sorry, I didn’t write that very clearly. I like that posts that are not available in all languages will appear anyway (e.g. if someone forgets setting the language) – it’s one of the reasons I like your plugin. These posts were test posts to see what happens if users screw up. 1,3, and 4 are exactly as intended.
2) I put a screenshot in this post. The only way I can access it is via the edit button that appears if you view the post on the website, because it doesn’t appear in the list of all posts (admin backend).
If I add a translation, it will be in the list, if I remove the translation, it vanishes again.

5) I was referring to the fact that both “Deutsche Seite” and “English Page” are displayed in the menu although they are configured correctly as you can see in the screenshot I added here.

I hope this helps to clarify the issues I have 🙂
Hi,
see this image:

“English-only” appears in the list of all posts if you choose english from “filter” combo (red box), or by clicking on english flag (blue box).
By default in this list the plugin show only posts of your default language, or the posts without language.
The same appens for the page:

Now that I think is counter-intuitive …
In next update I’ll add:
1) a label near the combo
2) a check that allow you to view posts withouth translate
I hope this is helpful 🙂

Hi!
Thanks for the pictures this definitely solves my issue with post 2. Now that I know how it works it makes a lot of sense 🙂
Concerning the labels, I think it would be enough to highlight the active language flag like you’ve done with the blue box. I like your improvement ideas!
My problem with the pages (5) is a bit different. As you can see in the image I included in the page (http://things.chaos-inkl.de/cccde2/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/page.png), the English and German version are linked.
However, if I look at the website, the menu always displays links to both languages as marked here:
http://things.chaos-inkl.de/cccde2/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/bothpages.png
With just one page, this isn’t too bad, but the menu of the finished website will be very big, so having both languages next to each other isn’t really an option.
Thank you!
Sorry, I forgot to respond to step 5 :)….
You must add only pages in default language to menu, the plugin will show the correct page in according to current language 🙂
Thanks for idea
