Orphaned tables after uninstalling the plugin

    Hi,

    Checking my database, I see that some orphan tables remain after uninstalling the plugin:

    • wp_aioseo_notifications (empty)
    • wp_aioseo_posts (empty)

    Can I delete these tables without any risk to the integrity of my WordPress database?

    Why didn’t the plugin clean up when it was uninstalled?

    Hi @agima, you can safely delete them, however, if you do so then you’ll lose all your SEO data in All in One SEO for your content. If you ever decide to install All in One SEO again then that data will be gone and you’ll need to start from scratch. This is why plugins don’t delete this data.
