Hi, Im having a problem with my “Older posts” button. I have disabled infinite scroll and have summary view of the latest blog posts on my home page. My problem is that there are two “older posts” buttons at the bottom. The one that goes with my theme brings you to the next set of summaries, if you click the block black button it opens the next set of full posts. I want to get rid of that block button. Any ideas how I do that? My website is http://www.iamahomemaker.com

    Thank you!

It seems that you’re still using Jetpack’s Infinite Scroll module, and your theme also outputs its own page navigation links. You probably don’t need both.

If you use a plugin like WP-PageNavi to add these navigation links to your site, you can deactivate that plugin.
If your theme includes that option for you, you can also deactivate it there.

If you don’t have the option to remove the links from your dashboard, I’d suggest that yu hide the links with some custom CSS. You can place that CSS inside your theme stylesheet, or in your custom CSS editor available under Appearance > Edit CSS in your dashboard.

Let me know how that goes.

Jeremy thank you so much!!! I had unchecked the option of infinite scroll but I hadn’t deactivated it. I think that did the trick. Thank you SO much!
