Starting around noon EDT on 4/20/2015, the JetPack plugin stopped working on my site. Was there an autoupdate around that time?

I can reinstall JetPack but i can’t activate Custom CSS – it says i don’t have sufficient privileges.

There was an auto-update yesterday (details http://jetpack.me/2015/04/20/jetpack-3-4-3-coordinated-security-update/ )

Can you deactivate and reactivate Jetpack via the link in the footer on the Jetpack page in your wp-admin, then try again?

i did, but no luck.

And in the plugins list it shows two Jetpack plugins. I verified on the server that there’s only one plugins/jetpack folder

Something odd is afoot if there are two Jetpack folders listed. Can you delete both line items and reinstall Jetpack?
