I’ve installed the plugins you listed (other than the pro stuff) in my test environment. I’m assuming you’ve got the latest version of WordPress.
And just to confirm, the categories that you have UNchecked include posts that are at least 30 days old, right?
Yes, you are right on both counts. All the plug-ins are up to date and all categories are unchecked. The sites are more than a year old, so there are plenty of posts available for republishing.
Overnight I had posts republish as expected.
I didn’t install Social Link Machine or WP Super Popunder Pro, but otherwise the other plugins don’t seem to be conflicting.
I also looked at the error log for the site and the only error was related to Google XML Sitemaps, but the error doesn’t appear to be critical.
I was hoping the conflict would be easy to detect, but no such luck.
Have you ever worked with the debugging settings and/or have an error log file?
One other thing I thought of. When you check to see if something has been republished, are you logging into the admin and checking the All Posts page? Looking at the home page instead might not work if you’ve got Wordfence’s caching turned on.
Thanks for your help. I am logging into the admin section and nothing is getting reposted and I’ve got no cache plugins running. Where can I go to see the error files? I have this installed on 200+ sites and am dying to get it going again. I loved OPP!
Error files are stored in different places depending on the setup of the server. Do any of your sites make use of a “phpinfo.php” file? It doesn’t have to have that name. It’s basically a one line file that uses the phpinfo() function to output a bunch of values including the location of the error log.
Alternatively, hop over to my site and post a comment. The comment doesn’t have to say anything in particular, but if you use your real email address we can exchange emails which would allow you to share info that you wouldn’t want the general public to see.
Hi Marios. It looks like it’s working now. I think there must have been a 48 hour delay before the posts started up. Everything is cool now. Thanks!
