Hey there,
Thanks for creating this ticket! Great to hear that you’ve been trying out our plugin.
The email goes to the email address configured under Settings -> General, not to a specific user. In addition to that, the user filling out the feedback form will get a copy of this email.
If you set up the correct email address but still don’t receive the email, I recommend you to install a plugin like Email Log or Check Email to see if your WordPress site correctly sends email.
Let me know if that works or if you need additional information!
Cheers,
Pascal
Wow. Thanks a lot for this quick answer! My e-mailaddress is set under settings, so that’s not the problem. I’ll try one of the plugins you mentioned.
Love the way this plugin looks by the way (which is why I want it to work :)).
I’ll let you know how it went.
Lieke
Update: the plugins only confirmed that e-mails weren’t being sent from my WordPress site. Couldn’t get it done with whatever setting I tried.
It’s a website I’m setting up for work, so I got back to it today. Got it fixed!! This saved me (in case anyone else has got this problem and uses Outlook/Office 365):

I used the plugin ‘Configure SMTP’ to fix my e-mail settings.
Your plugin works beautifully now. Thanks for you help!
Glad you were able to resolve the issue!
Thanks for the link, I’m sure it will be helpful for others.
If you encounter any other issues, feel free to open a new thread.
Cheers,
Pascal
Hi Lieke,
I hope you’re still happy with the User Feedback plugin!
Today, we uploaded version 2.0.0-beta (read: there might be some bugs) to WordPress.org. If you want to give it a spin, you can download it from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/user-feedback.zip and let us know how you like it. This version is much closer to what we have anticipated initially. As soon as we release that, we can focus on building awesome new features around it.
