webmasters mark it only with a warning (yellow), and this warning has no further description.

The sitemap may not have problem.That is why Google has warning only.But the stylesheet (xsl) is not getting loaded. So you can not view the sitemap in browser.
So just to clarify as I also use a non-www site, was this an issue and if so is it fix yet. Would like to install asap 🙂

No problem as I haven’t installed it yet. I just wanted to know if non-www sites were okay to use with the plugin first as you said “a small fix is required”.

This problem was not reported only one here.Also I using the plugin on my non www site without any issues so it should be fine.
