Hi. I cannot get the slider to work. I am getting a list of the images I selected for the slider on my live page followed by a spinning wheel or image loading graphic. I did read your troubleshooting manual but don’t really understand where exactly I am meant to place [satellite display=off] if it actually is the orbit-css not being read. I have never built a site before so need really good instructions.

  • Since two days I had the same problem. Found out that there was a conflict with a plugin called Column-Matic. After I disabled that, the slideshows worked again. Replaced Column-Matic with WP Easy Columns. No conflict.

@danceart makes a good point, a lot of time this is a plugin conflict issue.

View Source on the page (by right clicking) and then search for ‘satellite’ there should be 3 calls in the header to satellite stuff, 2 css files and 1 js file. If those are being loaded properly it’s a conflict issue with either your theme or plugins.

If it’s conflict, try and switching your theme, and disabling your plugins. It’s like testing for food allergies 🙂 Add one back at a time 🙂
