• Looks great and works straight away but I’m having trouble configuring to show a page with it’s category hierarchy.

I’m using Post Tags and Categories for Pages to allow pages to be in categories, so I need to see breadcrumbs maincategory > subcategory> page (as I do at the moment with Yoast breadcrumbs)

But this doesn’t seem to work as I can only choose category hieracrchy for posts or products, not pages. All I see is the site name > page without the categories.

    Can anyone please help? Thanks

Since pages can be the root for other post types (e.g. ‘page for posts’ in WordPress core, and root pages in Breadcrumb NavXT), the page post type is treated in a special manner in Breadcrumb NavXT. Breadcrumb NavXT, at least what is exposed by the settings page, only allows pages to follow a post parent hierarchy. If you want to have a hierarchical post type follow a taxonomy term based hierarchy, you probably want to create a Custom Post Type to do that.

Just switching back and forth the status of the pages brought back the options in my case.
