    Hi,

We use Forminator for more than a year, but since june 15th we didn’t received any notification by mail for all the new entries. We have 2 forms (contact and barbecue). I’ve both, no mail.

I don’t use SMTP but mailing with WordPess. It works perfectly with other plugins, like Ultimate Members, Booking Activities. It used to work with Forminator before.

If I search for entries, I can find them and display detail. If I try to resend notification email, I can read screen message “notification email well sent” but nothing in inbox or in spam!

Maybe due to new Forminator version 1.55.0!

    Regards

    Didier

    Hi @didier59450,

Sorry to know that you are experiencing this issue.

Forminator uses the default WordPress email function, wp_mail(), to send notification emails. If the general WordPress emails are working fine, Forminator notification emails should work fine.

Could you please use an Email Log plugin and check if there are any error being reported for Forminator notification emails?

You can try using this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/

Additionally, can you please also share an export of the form using Google Drive or pastebin.com in your next response so that we can take a closer look at the form configuration?

I hope the following guide comes in handy: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

Looking forward to hearing back from you and helping you resolve the issue as soon as possible.

    Best Regards,
    Nebu John

    Hi,

Email Log help me to understand problem si linked with email adress for admin and sender in all the different plugins used.

Now I’m notified correctly. I still have a problem with auto filled parameters for name and first name for connected members. Is there a special name to give to the item in such a form?

    regards

    Didier

    Hello @didier59450,

I hope things are going well for you.

I’m glad to hear that the first issue has been narrowed down.

I still have a problem with auto filled parameters for name and first name for connected members. Is there a special name to give to the item in such a form?

For autofills, Forminator only supports the fields listed in the docs: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#autofill, and only for the logged-in user.

For Visitors, if their details are saved in the browser, we need to enable the “Enable browser autofill” option. Guide: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#name-settings

So Forminator will auto-fetch the information.

In case you’re experiencing an issue after configuring it correctly, would you mind sharing the form export file, as mentioned in the initial response?

    Hi Saurabh,

As I allready explain, notification are ok now, but autofilled fields are not correctly returned for all connected visitors. The field “name” receive id value instead.

Fields are named in french: prénom, nom,, email. It’s just field “nom” which is not correctly autofilled. If the visitor does not correct this autofilled value, it’s quite confusing.

    Regards

    Hello @didier59450,

I am sorry to hear about the issue. To help us replicate it on the form, would you mind sharing the form export file with us?

    To share the form export
    – Navigate to the “Forminator -> Forms” page in your site’s back-end
    – Click on a little “gear” icon next to the form in question
    – Select the “Export” option
    – Copy the given export code and paste it at https://pastebin.com
    – Include the link to that paste in your response below.
Refer to this guide: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export. If you’re unclear.

Note: this export will not include any data that is already submitted – they’ll stay safely on your site, and we don’t need them anyway.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Kind Regards,
    Imran Khan
