I’m hoping the WordPress upgrade has some sort of fix for this issue.
Well, you wrote that few have this problem, it’s usually a hosting issue, and then some not helpful LOLing. I have the identical problem and I’ve gone through the same steps. I can start a new thread but it seems like it would be useful for people with the same issue to discuss ideas in one thread.
It’s actually quite difficult and confusing to have more than one conversation at the same time. And as the link above states:
Posting your own topic is smiled upon. Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.

Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
Error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
I’ve checked with Go Daddy and they say things are fine on the server end so this is frustrating!!!!!
Same issue in a multisite wordpress… all start one week ago, and server says there is no problem with them… 🙁
I will try later reload the theme
