Thanks for reaching out @sevja. When you mention you get no data in Site Kit, can you share a screenshot of what you’re encountering, or any messaging or warnings that appear?

If you just recently connected Analytics for this site, you may be seeing a “gathering data” notice. This is normal, with more details on this here. I also checked your site both manually and using the tagassistant.google.com service. From doing so I can see that site visits are recording, so I suspect it’s just a matter of waiting for site visits.

Looking forward to hearing from you, let me know if you have any questions.

    There are no reported errors.
In settings search console, analytics, pagespeed insights and tag manager reports to be connected.
Plugin status reports Site Kit is connected. “Green lights all the way”
It has gone nearly two weeks since this was configured, but no visits in site kit or in analytics.
The datastream in analytics reports under Google tag that no data recieved, but when i run
step 3 Test your website it reports green.

Still Web stream details report “Caution
Data collection isn’t active for your website. If you installed tags more than 48 hours ago, make sure they are set up correctly.”
Tag id matches the tag id in site kit …

Not sure where the problem is …

Thanks for the update. I’d be happy to check this further for you. In order for me to do so, please share a screen recording of your experience. You can use a service such as Loom or RecordIt to share a screen recording, while using the this form to share this privately.

Within the screen recording, please demonstrate what you see when visiting the Site Kit dashboard, and what you see when clicking on the ”Source: Analytics” link within the Site Kit dashboard. I ask as Site Kit pulls information from a users Analytics account and displays it within the plugin dashboard.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for sharing @sevja. From reviewing the contents of the PDF with screenshots, there is data appearing on the Site Kit dashboard. In addition, I can see all services are connected. I can’t determine any problems from the screenshots you shared.

Let me know if you are experiencing any issues. If the data doesn’t match what you’re seeing from analytics.google.com, please share what you see when clicking on the ”Source: Analytics” link within the Site Kit dashboard. Your previous screenshots didn’t include this.

Hi, just posted another form – as stated above in analytics the datastream in analytics reports under Google tag that no data recieved, but when i run
step 3 Test your website it reports green.

I have enclosed actual visits register by my hosting provider (I have generated visits from different computers, browsers, locations etc.)

Thanks for sharing the additional information @sevja. From reviewing the info, what you’re seeing in Site Kit matches what is in the Analytics platform for your site. Based on this, Site Kit is working as expected.

In relation to the no data message, this is appearing on the analytics.google.com dashboard. This may be as a result of no traffic over that time, in particular as your Site Kit configurations do not count logged in traffic for reporting. You can change this setting anytime via (Exclude Analytics > Logged in users). You can find more details on this here.

Another possibility for not having traffic over the past 48 hours may be related to your Cookies and Content Security Policy plugin configuration. Such plugins can block analytics tracking by default.

To confirm all is working as expected, can you please temporarily deactivate your Cookies and Content Security Policy plugin, while checking the Google Analytics real time report, and also the tagassistant.google.com service?

Hi, it was the cookies and content security policy that did not play well. Had to disable it and do the configuration over again – I can’t really see any changes in the configuration, but now its working 😉

Thank you for all your help, and sorry for the inconvenience. I should have thought of testing without that plugin.

Best of luck, and if you have a moment free consider sharing your thoughts on the plugin, in particular as it sounds like you’ve been using the plugin for a couple of weeks.
