    I don’t have the option to add my own code. The Location field doesn’t work either. How to fix it?

    I am using the latest version of wordpress

    Hi @otomasz,

    That looks like the plugins scripts are not being loaded correctly on the page. Can you please check that this is not caused by a browser extension that you are using? Like an ad blocker or script blocker of any kind.

    If that’s not the case, you could also be running in an error preventing the full page from loading correctly and thus not loading the scripts in the footer used by the plugin. You can check the PHP error logs to see if that’s the case.

    I tried with another browser without plugins and same thing. there is no information in the tools > logs tab.

    Hi @otomasz,

    The issue might not be caused by the browser in that case so it sounds like you are running into an error or a conflict with another plugin.

    Can you please reach out using the form at https://wpcode.com/contact so that we can try to look into this in more detail.

    @otomasz thank you for reaching out to our support, I am going to mark this as resolved for now as from the tests we ran it seems to be specific to your setup. Feel free to reply here or in the email if you require further assistance.

    I have the exact same problem. Last version of WP.
    navigating through the CSS code I find that this value is added:

    #wpcode_block_editor, #wp-wpcode_snippet_text-wrap {
        display: none;
    }

    But even if i remove the value on the CSS browser developer mode… I can’t also change the Code type HTML snippet into PHP snippet, the HTML remains as default always.

    Please help

    Hi @rainbowfever,

    That CSS rule is added because the code editor replaces the textarea when it is loaded correctly. From what you are describing, the issue you are describing is related to some scripts used by the plugin not being loaded correctly.

    Please try disabling any adblock/script blocking extensions that you are using in the browser.

    I have adblock extensions always disabled for the websites i work, but now i even logged in on another browser without extensions at all.
    Still same problem. I dont know if they are relevant, but i attach some screenshots for both textarea and for the text editor wrap (?)

    (@gripgrip)

    Hi @rainbowfever,

    Thank you for the screenshots – the styles indicated are both expected. The text editor is hidden by default and is shown if you switch to the Text code type. The textarea used for the code is hidden as it is replaced with the code editor in the frontend when that is loaded.

    Are there any browser console errors when you load the page that might indicate a conflict with a script from another plugin?

    yes, quite a lot console browser errors, sorry i don’t know if this is my website problem or if i have some other missing files.
    On those errores I replaced my real website address by “default-website.com” for privacy issues

    (@gripgrip)

    Hi @rainbowfever,

    That looks like it might be the cause of the issue – it’s hard to pinpoint the issue just from those errors but I suggest trying to deactivate other plugins one by one until you find which one is causing the conflict. I tried testing with the ones visible in the log (ultimate-social-media-icons & filebird) and I don’t get an error so it might be another plugin causing this.

    If you have a staging site option available please try there first.
