2. Please check that your WordPress installation is able to send emails. You can do this by accessing a page like wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and request a password recovery email.

The registration process seems to be broken by something since success messages are not displayed, if you check closely, the social share icons that you use also don’t load properly on that page.
Did you add a redirect in the shortcode there as well ?
You need to run some clean tests with all plugins except Profile Builder disabled and by switching to a standard theme like TwentySixteen and try to replicate each of these issues. They shouldn’t happen anymore and you can find out what’s breaking them by enabling your plugins one by one and checking or switching your theme back and checking if that has any effect.
I know you said you did this, but if it wasn’t working even after that, I don’t think you did it properly. I tested this for the 2.6.1 version and these things are working correctly.
