• Does anyone have any experience migrating or using Mooberry plugins on WP Engine, Synthesis or Media Temple Managed WordPress Hosting services? I’m considering a change, but love how Mooberry is working for me (at BlueHost, although not much else is going well for me at BlueHost, lol.). I know some of these managed hosts can be finicky, or arbitrarily shut down plugins. Losing Mooberry is not an option for me.

I would love to know this as well. 🙂

I can tell you, klynwurth, that I have been trying to help a user on WPEngine since Mooberry Book Manager updated to 3.1 a few weeks ago. My understanding is that MBM prior to version 3.1 worked fine, however the update has not gone smoothly. We are still trying to figure out what the problem is and how to fix it (and working with WPEngine’s support team as well).

What I don’t know is if this problem would occur with everyone on WPEngine or if it’s something specific to this particular site’s set up.

I’ve not heard from any users on the other platforms you mentioned.

An update: although the migration of data failed from version 2 to 3, the user was able to add new books. Still no resolution on why the migration is failing, however version 3 is usable on WPEngine if you add the books manually rather than migrate from version 2.
