missing_secrets when trying to connect to wordpress.com

    I get this message when trying to connect/activate JetPack: “Your Jetpack has a glitch. Something went wrong that’s never supposed to happen. Guess you’re just lucky: missing_secrets
    Try connecting again.”

    NOTE:

    • I successfully logged into wordpress.com.
    • I added define( ‘JETPACK_CLIENT__HTTPS’, ‘NEVER’ ); to wp-config.php since
    • I am running SSL.
    • I deactivated JetPack, logged out then logged in.
    • This is a multisite network.

    any ideas? what does missing_secrets mean? Thanks!
