Hi,
Unfortunately I have little knowledge about how Stripe works (I know it is popular but not available in my home country) but I would like to help to figure out a solution for your issue.
As far as I know Stripe shows an inpage layer to the user. After this, will the user be redirected to a special thank you page that is different from the one that can be seen when using PayPal?
Hi, same problem here with Stripe being the source I guess. I followed the enhanced e-commerce setup guide step by step, most e-commerce metrics are working fine (product details, add to cart…) but no transactions.
Hi,
Does Stripe have any dev tool that can be installed on a dev site without any country restriction? My biggest issue is currently that my home country is not supported by Stripe thus I can not open any account to make tests by myself. But if there is any sandbox version of this payment gateway that can be used world wide, I would be happy to test it by myself.
I’m not sure if these docs will help, but here’s the Stripe testing site: https://stripe.com/docs/testing
Edit: You might also be able to use a VPN to test out Stripe…? long shot thought.
I did notice that stripe does bring you to a /checkout/order-received/ page similarly to other payment processors. I’m not sure why gtm4wp doesn’t recognize this as a completed transaction.
I’m not a software guru by any means, but I can try to help get this resolved, as it would be helpful for my shop (and probably others in the US) as well.
