Hi @nanasflowers,
Thank you for reaching out.
No worries, we’ve already completed the development for the new Google Merchant API integration. At the moment, we’re testing the updated version in real-world environments to ensure everything works smoothly before the final release.
If you’re willing to beta test the update before it’s officially released, we’d really appreciate your help. You can reach out to our official support team at support@rextheme.com, and we’ll be happy to guide you through the beta testing process.
Your feedback would be invaluable in helping us deliver a stable release for everyone.
Best regards,
– PFM Support Team
You tell this since 1 year! I asked already in September: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/migration-from-content-api-for-shopping-to-merchant-api/
and 6 month ago again https://wordpress.org/support/topic/api-users-must-switch-to-merchant-api-3/ .Always getting the answer that there will be enough time to “switch over safely without any disruption.”
And now it’s last minute, if at all . Disappointed but not surprised.

Hi @mediamarx,
Thank you for your patience, and I completely understand your concern.
We’ve now officially released Product Feed Manager for WooCommerce version 7.8.0 on August 17, 2026, which includes support for the Google Merchant API.
Please update the plugin to version 7.8.0, then: Enable the Merchant API in your GMC. Manually update your feeds to sync them using the new API. For step-by-step instructions, please check our documentation: How To Auto-sync Your Store’s Products To Google Merchant Center Using Merchant API
If you need any further help with the migration or run into any issues, please let us know and we’ll be happy to assist.
Best Regards,
– PFM Support Team

Migration is not working for me, I get this error when clicking “Migrate Now”, and also if I try to create a new feed and I get a site crash error.
My settings have been updated with the new API details.

Hi @nanasflowers,
Thanks for sharing the details and the screenshot.
Could you please confirm whether you have enabled the Merchant API for Shopping in your Google Cloud project and disabled the Content API?
Please follow the steps shown in our documentation here: Merchant API setup guide
Once you have confirmed these settings, please try clicking “Migrate Now”. If you still encounter the error, could you please contact us through our official support channel at support@rextheme.com?
Best regards,
