I have a client who has approached me who has similar issues with this plugin since a recent update, the meta title now has HTML special characters instead of them showing correctly as they used to.
I upgraded the old version of the plugin and the problem was gone.
I think there are bugs that need to be fixed.

We’d love to understand a little more about the issue you were facing here. Our migration should not have adjusted your titles at all, but rather just migrated them to the new format that we use.
What strange numbers were you seeing? If we can understand the issue and can reproduce, we should be able to get a fix for it out quickly.

I’d love to understand more about this as well. Like I mentioned in the post above, the migration should have migrated the titles as-is without changing or altering them. Can you share with me more details so we can get a fix out there?
