    Hi,

I’m using the WP Google Maps and WP Google Maps Pro plugin on a fair few of our websites.

I noticed today that the plugin seems to have broken on multiple sites, and the back-end and front-end no longer shows any maps. When I attempt to create a new map it gives me an error. It does work on a few of our websites but the back-end also looks really broken.

I’ve tried disabling all other plugins, and reinstalling both the standard and pro versions of the plugin. I also tried restoring to a backup from December on one site which did not fix the issue. As far as I’m aware it was working in January so it seems strange..

I’ve noticed the issue on 10 of our websites.

Ideally I’d like to fix this asap, any help is much appreciated, thanks!

  • Hi @benbattaglia I have the same issue, I have a multisite wordpress, today I have update Wp-google-maps plugin to V 8.1.10 , and It crashed my wordpress, I cant activate plugin again because it shows the following message:

Fatal error: Namespace declaration statement has to be the very first statement or after any declare call in the scrpt in /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-google-maps/includes/class.page.php on line 3

    Hi @benbattaglia,

Unfortuantely, we cannot provide any sort of Pro support via these forums, could I kindly ask you to please get in touch with us via our website?

    Hi @alvizua3,

The very first statement of the class.page.php file, so what might be occurring is that this issue is caused somewhere else, by a function or an error causing a premature output or your website may be loading the core code slightly differently.
