The same thing happens here…
It should be available currently.
We are working with Google on deploying a series of updates this week during each afternoon this week. We’re trying to keep how much it affects users to a minimum, so the majority of users won’t be affected, but there will be a set that likely overlaps each day.

OK. Good to know there is nothing wrong on our side 🙂
I am based in the U.S. and have had this 503 error starting last night around 10pm. It is currently affecting my sitemap xml and google search indexability.
Is there an ETA when I could expect the service to come back online for my website?

How can bug in displayin stats affect your sitemap.cml and search indexability?
Your sitemap.xml is fine btw.
That is a great question @medvidekpu
So let me be 100% transparent. I am not a developer, I simply manage my website based on a template a web designer built for me. I’m pretty good with technical stuff but I’m still learning every day.
I logged into WP and saw a notification from Yoast SEO saying, “Your site cannot be indexed” They re-directed me to ryte.com to run a website analysis tool and the error says:
503 Service Unavailable
https://www.thesilverninja.com/sitemap.xml
They might be unrelated but it is the only error I am getting so far.
tell me, what do you see if you just open
https://www.thesilverninja.com/sitemap.xml?
i see valid sitemap.
No idea what ryte.com is, but it shows utter nonsense for any web i put there to check
It shows 11 sitemap entries and I can click on the page sitemap and see all my pages.
Hmm…
I guess the 503 error is giving my Yoast SEO tools a false positive. When it sees the 503 it’s making the tool think there is a webpage that is offline and thus asks me to fix it. But yeah, looks like the sitemap is working as normal.
Thank you for showing that to me. I hope the MonsterInsights outage doesn’t go for too much longer though.
Hi there,
Google’s team is working on the reporting APIs only. It does not affect tracking or anything frontend to your website. If Yoast is seeing something, it’s not seeing us when reporting whatever it’s reporting, as the maintenance mode alert is not surfaceable to their plugin.
The 503 on ryte.com is not related to the maintenance Google is doing. That’s an issue on the servers for the external service that Yoast is pointing people to.
