Lost Data After Upgrade

Hello,
Our Jetpack account was disconnected on our WordPress site today after upgrading the Jetpack plugin. This happened over 2 months ago and it somehow attached itself to our development site on a different domain, despite that domain not being visible in my WordPress account. I went through the process to re-enable the plugin and merge with data with that development site, but that caused the loss of all our email followers/blog subscribers and stats. How can I correct this and recover the followers?
