@jobalternative. Are you sure it’s a 504? That’s a “gateway timeout”, which would be closely tied to your particular installation.
Still, if you are interested, I’d like to try to debug this situation with you. Can you describe your runtime environment (hosting situation, PHP version etc.)? Do you also get that gateway timeout when you click on “Clear cache” in the settings?
Hi pepe,
See by yourself with the latest update blocking my site:
https://www.jobalternative.net
504 Gateway Time-out. The server didn’t respond in time.
I gonna deactivate soon the plugin to restore the site…
WP Version: 4.9.1
MySQL Version : 5.5.55
PHP Version : 7.0.17

@jobalternative Thanks, the request seems to stall when sending the document body. What does the PHP log file say?
(Although we should probably move this conversation to the support forum.)
I don’t know. I am not a php log file expert. And there are already subjects in the support forum about site failing to load with this plugin.
Best regards 🙂

@jobalternative If you have a look at those threads, you’ll see that the issues reported have all been fixed. I’d really like to get to the bottom of this.
If you are uncomfortable with the command line, you can use the Error Log Monitor plugin to monitor the log in your WordPress admin backend. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to determine the issue at hand without the actual error message.
(If you prefer not to do this in a public forum, you can also contact me via https://code.mundschenk.at to continue this conversation by mail.)
