What error did you see when trying to login? I suppose you’re using recaptcha v2?
I removed the plugin via FTP and also removed the Limit Login Attempts plugin, which got me in.
I re-installed the reCaptcha plugin, latest version, and things went wrong again.
Kicked it off and got in.
Hmm did you see any displayed error or no error at all? If you’re using the no captcha recaptcha, please try switching to recaptcha v1 (go to BWP reCAPT > Plugin Functionality > “check Use reCAPTCHA version 1”) to see if that works.

I removed the plugin and switched to .htaccess protecting of the login page
We have another site where we use the plugin, which isn’t yet updated to the latest WP version. Will see how that goes and try it out.
