Hi @roro111, thank you for reaching out to us. Could you please confirm if the issue doesn’t occur when the iTSec plugin is disabled?
Hello,
thanks for your reply, I think that this issue is not happening when the ITSec is disabled.. indeed.
I would need few more days with ITSec turned off to see if it is the cas really!!
Will keep you posted on that matter. Thanks..
Meanwhile, yesterday I tried to turn on the DATABASE BACKUP functionnality of ITSec.. and it seems like all of a sudden I started to have all kind of notifications on the log page… such as FILE ALTERATIONS, DATABASE BACKUP FAILURES and so on.. All kinds of notifications I never had until now!
Also, Could it be possible that this DB backup process changes drastically the speed of my pages ?? I ‘ve experienced some big speed issues (ALL configurations except Firefox Desktop!) on my site since yesterday…. Tried to deactivate ITSec , but issue stayed the same: all pages are slow except HomePage…
Thanks for any further help here..
RP
ps: page I am seeing this issue with: https://www.chiropratique-france.net

Hi @roro111, if the issue still occurs while iTSec is deactivated, something different is causing the issue. You may want to check this article.
As for the sudden log notifications, you might receive those due to turning on the feature. Could you please check the notifications and let me know the log details (type of error, description, etc)? Unfortunately, I haven’t heard of similar cases when the DB backup is enabled for the speed issues. Depending on what’s happening on your site, File Change Detection can be the most resource-hungry feature in the plugin and sometimes cause speed issues. If you’re still having speed issues while iTSec is deactivated, I would recommend conducting a conflict check and having your host increase your PHP resources to see if that helps.
Hi @roro111, I hope the information provided helped resolve the issue. Since we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this post resolved. If you still need some assistance, feel free to open a new support topic, and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
Hello,
My speed issue was not related to ITsec… Sorry for not replying before.
Meanwhile, I noticed that ITSec is still making my WP prompting for logins 3 to 6 times a day.. Is that normal?
Thanks
