Limit to same category

    Hello,
    I finally found your wonderful plugin, thank you.
    I have a request.
    There are more than one top category for different types of post subjects. I would like to limit the related posts within each post category (just as you have ‘limit by author’, ‘limit by post type’). The content is otherwise not that related.
    For example, there are blog posts – related would be other blog posts. Then there are persons with quotes – related would be from category persons with quotes.
    There was a great free plugin which was discontinued, and it had this feature. Now a related plugin is a problem, yours is the best I have found so far (tried 5) but this feature is really necessary here.
    Can you, please, help with this?

    You can use the addon plugin for relating to categories – https://wordpress.org/plugins/crp-taxonomy/

    Still, one thing remains here, or, perhaps, I am not seeing it.
    How do I set the plugin up not to include ANY products? only posts?

    If your product is a post type, you can deselect this in the Include post types in results – i.e. select only the ones you want

    OK, I think I’ve got it.
    It appears, you have the setting duplicated.
    On the General tab, you have “Automatically add related posts to”. I have, from the start, chosen only posts. But it still showed on products.
    On the Output tab, you have “Exclude display on these post types”. Now I chose products here, and it seems to have done the trick.

    That’s because the Post types are actually a sub-category of posts in the structure and then the options get a lot more confusing and harder for me to manage. Hence the workaround
