Hi @jb7584 ,
I hope you’re doing well.
In this case, the way to use Forminator without further custom coding would be by using the limit submission on the Select field: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#limt-submission
Allow multiple selection – https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#select-basic-options
And add each option, limiting it to 1, so for example, if you have 3 salads available, add salad 3 times.
I hope this helps.
Best Regards,

hi and thk for your quick answer but it doesn’t seem to solve.
If i understood well you tell me to create a selected (with multiple selection) as:
Option 1 : Salad (with limit 1)
Option 2 : Salad (with limit 1)
… and doing this 7 times…. it’s very uncomfortable for users to order like it, the limite can’t be set on for example (or elsewhere) a custom number field (but stock recording limit, not field limit).
Can you help on this?

Hello @jb7584,
I hope things are going well for you.
Currently, the plugin doesn’t have a built-in Limit feature to achieve your goal.
I’ve created an internal feature request task to add support for a submission limit on the numbers field, so we can have more control. While we plan to implement this feature, we cannot provide a specific release timeline at this time.
Another way to achieve this is through custom work, but unfortunately, we do not provide this service here.
For that, you’ll need to hire a developer so they can provide the required custom code. WordPress offers a jobs directory here: https://jobs.wordpress.net/. If you need further advice, feel free to email wpsupport@incsub.com.
