limit selections with checkbox for samples.

Hi there,

I want to make use of free samples, but I want them to be able to select only 5 for example among the 20.
How can we do that?

What do you mean “use of free samples”? Could you clarify?

for example, color samples of materials.
i want to display the material image as the option.
and they can pick among X amount of options to get the samples send to them

It is possible. You can use special variable {option_slug_count} to check selected suboptions. Please check the documentation https://moomoo-agency.gitbooks.io/uni-cpo-4-documentation/content/checkbox.html Add some condition logic, if count of selected suboptions greater that your limit set price to 0 and show notification that max limit is 20. I’ve added some options for the checkboxes, i select more than 5 and it still let’s me add it to card with the extra cart button free sample mode, zero rate.

it doesn’t show a parsley error in red also saying i’ve selected more than 5.

i’ve managed to do it by conditional logic hiding the extra cart button.
but i’m still trying to find a way to hide the main cart button while retaining extra cart button i put in with the builder.
(the standard theme button is still there)

You need to set price to 0. If price is 0 the standard theme button (Add to cart button) will be disable. And user won’t be able to add product to the cart.
