I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue!
It’s very odd indeed as I would expect there to be some kind of JavaScript error in the console, but there’s nothing. It just says “Loading…” as you’ve mentioned and there are no additional clues so far.
I have a guess, please check if doing the following helps:
– visit Smush >> Lazy Load
– in the Media Types deactivate the iframes option
– check if that helped
If this doesn’t help, please also try deactivating Lazy Loading temporarily and let us know if that worked. This will allow us to pinpoint the specific feature involved in this.
Please also check and make sure you don’t have Smush Lazy Loading enabled along with Jetpack’s Lazy Loading – there’s a possibility both plugins will conflict as they may want to try lazy load the same images.
If the above doesn’t help, please let us know. Please also mention which plugin is adding this Loading item so we can check that further on a test site.
