Subject: [FKAncestry.com] Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue

    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Jetpack.

First, visit your website (http://fkancestry.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (http://fkancestry.com/wp-admin/update.php?action=update-selected&plugins=jetpack%2Fjetpack.php%2Cwordpress-seo%2Fwp-seo.php&_wpnonce=5b50942b13) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    http://fkancestry.com/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_mode&rm_token=rybXrxvhOd7v35aIPkU1gn&rm_key=VozCqADoNgkQCezsXGE1Su

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.8.3
    Current theme: Vantage (version 1.19.5)
    Current plugin: Jetpack (version 10.5)
    PHP version 7.4.26

    Hi there

We’re not aware of any files missing from the latest Jetpack release. Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin to see if that helps?

What was the actual error message you saw on the page?

    Thanks

    Thanks Dan

I received the E Mail warning as included in last text from
    website@fkancestry.com <website@Fkancestry.com>;

Website is loading but I did not hit or open any LINKS as I was uncertain if this was a scam or not ? So i did not investigate in fear of some corruption etc if I hit a link –
    Appreciated
    Kind Regards

I can see that the site is loading. Are you continuing to see error notifications via email?

At this time, the only error we are seeing is that your site is responding slowly which is causing the Jetpack Connection to fail. I would recommend reaching out to your hosting provider and ask them if there are indications that your server is overloaded.

    We’re seeing the error:

http_request_failed cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 15001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

    Thank you Bob. Appreciated.
Website is loading as you say – I am no IT expert so I was cautious when I got the WP e mail – and I reached out – There appears no issues on the face of it with FKANcestry.com

I will reach out to the Host Provider as prescribed.

Though I appear to be well within limits and my Internet is excellent:

    Diskspace
3.2 GB used of 10 GB

    Mailboxes
0 unit used of 50 unit

    Traffic
1.9 GB used of 200 GB

Thanks Bob. Thank U for that.

    Hey @seamus-fleming,

If you’re about to reach the maximum amount of traffic, then you will need to consider extending it to avoid further problems. This isn’t something we can assist with as it falls outside our scope of support — your hosting provider can help you with it!

As far as Jetpack is concerned, I still see the error reported by my colleague Bob: if you upgrade your servers, chances are that the error gets solved this way.

Let me know how you get on, and we’ll be happy to run more tests on your Jetpack connections once they have sorted that out at their end.

    Fantastic.
    Thanks Stef.

I will do as you prescribe. Thank You.

    Issue Resolved.
    Appreciated.

Just the point Stef – Re Traffic limit

    Diskspace
3.2 GB used of 10 GB

    Mailboxes
0 unit used of 50 unit

    Traffic
1.9 GB used of 200 GB

Only using 1.9 of 200 GB.
