    Hello,

I recently added the Jetpack plugin to have people be able to subscribe to my website for newsletters and receive notifications when I publish a post. I added the Subscribe button from Jetpack and tried testing by putting email addresses in but it is not sending a confirmation email that said they were signed up. I also posted a new post and toggled on the “notify subscribers that a post has been posted” but I did not get anything. I’m wondering if this is happening because I have both Jetpack and Mailchimp?? I also can’t see my subscribers tab on Jetpack, it takes me to this site that tells me to log on to wordpress but I’m already logged on. Please help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @withrinka,

I checked your site’s Jetpack connection and found the issue — your site is not currently connected to WordPress.com. The debugger reports: “The site is not connected (no blog token exists).”

This fully explains all three issues you’re seeing. Jetpack needs an active connection to WordPress.com to send subscription confirmations, deliver newsletter emails, and display the Subscribers tab. Without it, none of those features can work.

    Here’s what to do:

    1. Connect (or reconnect) Jetpack
In your WordPress dashboard, go to Jetpack → Dashboard. You should see a prompt to connect your site. Click it and follow the steps to link your site to your WordPress.com account.

If you see an error during the connection process, try disconnecting first and then reconnecting:

    2. If the connection fails
Sometimes other plugins can interfere with the connection process. If you get an error when trying to connect, temporarily deactivate all other plugins (including Mailchimp), attempt the Jetpack connection again, and then reactivate your other plugins afterward.

    3. Verify the connection
Once connected, check your connection status at https://jetpack.com/support/debug/ — all tests should pass. Then:

    • Visit Jetpack → Settings → Newsletter and confirm the newsletter features are enabled
    • Test the Subscribe block with a test email address
    • The Subscribers tab should now load without redirecting you

Let us know how it goes!
